How Would You Rate Your Smile?
Is it a perfect TEN, a seven, or perhaps even lower?
Does your smile make you look friendlier, and more youthful? It can.
If your front teeth have been chipped, cracked or damaged, permanently stained, are spaced improperly, crooked or misshaped, Veneers may be the solution for your smile.
Cosmetic dentistry allows dentists to Perform Porcelain veneer 'smile makeovers' which can address these and other issues. We are delighted to be able to offer this revolutionary technique to our patients.
What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain Veneers are custom, porcelain facings that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth to cover any imperfections and fix your smile. It is constructed from a hard stain resistant material, often porcelain, in order to last for a long period as well as improve your smile. The veneers are very thin, only about 1mm thick. That same thickness is "smoothed" off the natural tooth surface so when the veneer is bonded to the tooth, the tooth feels and looks the same thickness as before. Uneven, discolored, or even damaged teeth can be restored or repaired using this procedure.
What makes Porcelain Veneers so special?
Not all Veneers are created equal. Your face and smile are unique, as such, we will create a unique Veneer to match the shape of your face and make the best smile for your mouth.
If it is decided that veneers are the solution for your smile, a mold will be taken of your teeth and sent to a dental lab. Custom veneers will be created to fit your smile perfectly. On your follow up visit, we will etch the teeth that will be covered in order to create a surface for the Veneer to adhere to. The veneers will then be placed on your teeth, cosmetically correcting the imperfections that you wanted to correct and improving your smile for years to come.
Veneers serve many purposes and can be used to:
